Catherine McKenna: Climate action as a Canadian Economic Advantage

Calgary Chamber

It is now clear: Governments who want to build strong economies must also protect their natural environment. In fact, it’s now a competitive advantage. From China to Denmark to Texas, governments around the world are realizing that building a sustainable economy is not only the right thing to do – it’s good business.

Responsible for two of the most relevant portfolios of our time, and in her first ever address to Calgary’s business community, Environment and Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna will outline her environment strategy as it relates to the future of Alberta’s industries, environmental stewardship, market access, and her government’s plans for economic growth.
