Startup Calgary Community Feedback and Input Session, Tuesday Jun 26, 5pm
Startup Calgary has been focused on bringing together the startup community since the summer of 2010 and it’s time for you to tell us what you want!
We’ve been talking about what we should do this next year – and guess what, you should be involved in that discussion! We’ll be hosting a community feedback ‘mini unconference’ and we want you to be there.
Date: Tuesday, June 26th, 2012
Time: 5pm sharp, will end at 9pm at the latest
Address: Assembly Co-Working Space, 3rd floor – 119 14th Street NW (former Veer offices).
Who should be there: Entrepreneurs, funders, students, community leaders, mentors, interested in the community but not involved? Here’s your chance!
Cost: Yes, it’ll cost $10. But isn’t it worth it to ensure you get exactly what you need from your city? Tickets are limited, so grab them right away.

Have your say and tell us what you would like to see, what you personally need from your community, and how we can help facilitate that. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
What to expect:
1) Everyone contributes ideas and thoughts.
2) Attendees collectively vote up ideas on what is most important to them. (think barcamp)
3) The ideas with the most votes turn into quick break out sessions to elaborate on the subject and what can we do about it…..and repeat.
4) The outcomes from this event will be our focus for the next year and contribute to our long-term goals, so make sure to be there to tell us what you want!
